Car Tire prices…………WTF!!!!

I have summer tires and a week ago I went into the local tire shop to order all season tires for my ride.

Walked in and it was a breh at the register (Finna get myself a discount)

Breh was like don’t even buy Michelin for a performance car. They are way over priced and Pireli brand will be just as good and for a decent price

He didn’t have them in stock so we had to order the tires.

Just like I said……a good brother hooked up with some discounts from $1257 to $983


…….but still bro. WTF!!!

Imagine brehs with trucks and SUVs (rovers, BMW X5, Tahoes, etc) bet that Price though got them feeling and walking like they got Corona

1200 is pretty standard for a set of 4-tires. So is the "discount" they gave you. Is this your first car? or maybe your first set of new tires?


They normally rebate/refund one whole tire cause you have done them the favor of eliminating their inventory.

THe last time i brought tires was like 2010 and i remember it being like 300 for 4, granted they werent great tires but the cheapest i found a few months ago was like 700 for similar tires. Ended up getting the General Altimax which has been good so far.

Put new tires on my Challenger bc the ones it comes with are trash, paid like 1300.00 for some wider tires. Expensive but worth it completely different driving experience. I got the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s ZP 275 up front and 295 on the back. Got a deal on them.
