This was before Cardale failed to lift OSU this year and was benched for Barrett. While his size and arm strength are intriguing, from a playing perspective, Cardale is not good enough to be drafted in the first 4 rounds imho. From a pure quarterbacking perspective, JT Barrett is a better QB prospect than Cardale Jones. Barrett is more accurate, reads defenses better and possesses better mechanics. Now a GM might still pick him in the 4th or 5th as a function of his incredible arm and imposing size, but Cardale cost himself money and playing privilege by staying one more year. Football is a business and he should have maximized his profit last year.

If we're being real about Cardale, last season he only had 1 great game, another solid game, and he looked average against Bama. We were just caught up in the novelty act of a 3rd stringer leading his team to wins over 3 straight top 10 teams to end the season

I agree, he made plays when he had to and he limited the crucial mistakes. He came up cluch on 3rd downs. Zeke helped him too rushing for 225
