Rappers been promoting gang banging and selling dope since the early/mid 90's. Family destroying content has been a part of hip hop longer then it hasn't been.

And Big Lex from the documentary Pimps Up Hoes Down said she got into pimping listening to Too Short who took off in the late 80's.

Suga Free, Pimp C, Kingpin Skinny Pimp......the list of rappers promoting pimping in the 90's is vast. How you skipping over the promotion of pimping to focus on the ho'ing?

Thanks for putting me on to HWA, never heard about them.

If it's art and expression than it's art.

But the hip hop I primarily listen to is late 90s underground. Krs, Nas.

Prostitution is not in their content, other than Nas mentioning hoes.

I've been listening to alot of classic rock recently.
Alot has to do with love, broken hearts, sticking through tough times, observations etc.

Alot of the hip hop I listen to is similar.

I knew strippers that use ho hip hop as motivational music.

The get money themes are all there.

I also seen them rack over $8000 in debt and be involved in a non sustainable lifestyle.

You obviously didn't even listen to the album. There are 10 potential singles, the label is going to roll this album out till the summer of next year. Even the first 2 singles (Outside, Imaginary Players, ) were obviously appetizers before pulling out the big guns & they both have rotation on the 2 hip hop stations in NYC. The new single "Safe" is another Power 105 type song that I already know will be on their rotation.
