Neither did Salt N Pepa and they just got inducted in the Rock N Roll Hall of fame.

Good for them they had better writers but they can’t be held in the same regard as women who actually wrote a lot of their raps like Nicki Minaj.

LOL. According to who? You? As someone who was there when "My mic sounds nice" no one cared about Salt N Pepa having written rhymes. Nor did we care that Biz Markie or Eazy E had written rhymes. That whole removal of credibility for having written rhymes didn't start till Meek Mills brought it up towards Drake in the mid 2010's and you can't apply a 2010's mentality to a popular rap act that made their bones in the 80's and 90's. Absolutely no one cared about Biggie writing Kims rhymes in the mid/ late 90's and it was publicly known because that didn't become a thing until Meek Mills/Drake in the mid 2010's. We were calling Kim the Queen and her first album since has been herald as classic status when the topic of best female albums are brought up.

Lies it’s always been a big thing in men’s rap. Eazy E or Biz Marki are not considered top rappers in any era, neither is Dre or Diddy. And no one cared about Kim writing her raps but for that same reason you can’t put her above Nicki either, you should always get more credit as a rapper if you actually write your own lyrics because if you don’t then really what are you? An actor, Cardis flow ain’t anywhere as polished as Kim or Foxys and she don’t even write her own shyt, so that says it all.

Exactly, so you bringing up Cardi B not writing her raps means you are picking and choosing. If no one cared about Kim then you picking and choosing bringing up Cardi B

And this comment is where you fukked up.

Look at the names posted in this thread made right here on The Coli just a few months ago...

Lil Kim's first album mentioned 5 times

Nicki's albums mentioned 0 times

Nobody is applying those made up rules you just posted. If what you said was true, Nicki would be mentioned nonstop and Kim would get zero mentions. But that's not how it happened. So your made up rules don't apply.

Nicki is mentioned way more everywhere outside The Coli, which has a clear 90’s bias.

Even so Biggie died in 97 so who was writing her raps after?

Ummmm. Your last comment was that you can’t put Kim above Nicki either, you should always get more credit as a rapper if you actually write your own lyrics. So when I posted a thread confirming that no one is co signing that rule you just made up you now say :Nicki is mentioned way more everywhere outside The Coli but you haven't posted any proof that people outside of The Coli are putting Nicki above Kim because Nicki writes her own raps.

You mentioned 90's bias but Jean Grae and Rhapsody are also mentioned in that thread. That's after the 90's. :sas1:

Here's a thread outside of The Coli :krs:

Lil Kims albums are mentioned 11 times

Nicki is mentioned 0 times :russ:

Cardi B is mentioned once. :ohhh:

Kim is the first mention in the whole thread. They mention Pinkprint but only to debate why it's not a classic.

Look at these 2 comments

I am so glad the first response was not The Pinkprint

This proves it. Nicki doesn't have a classic album. She is a singles artist, and her last big hit was a decade ago

:mjlol:

But but but but but you should get more credit if you write your own lyrics. No one is applying your made up rules in that thread from outside of The Coli either. :sas2:

Cardi B’s ‘AM I THE DRAMA?’ officially breaks the record for most weeks in the top 10 for a female rap album on the Billboard 200 this decade

Last week it was at #10 but will be back at # 8 this week

"But but but it will fall of the chart dramatically after the first week" they said
