Word, same here. I got so much respect for you. You one of my favorite posters.
I don't know what it is, I listened to the song and I was like "damn, she sound good on this" .
I ain't saying she the best rapper or nothing like that, Cardi just makes good catchy songs in my opinion.
I really don't get the whole "sounds like she's reading from a sheet" angle from her, she just sounds good on it. She doesn't sound awkward rapping.
As for the grammy win, I really don't pay attention to the awards.
A lot of her winning the award it's really about her having a really likable personality and then making music that is catchy.
I don't hold this era of hip hop to the same standards I held the 90's too, it's 2 completely different times and the music from both eras show that.
