My Pops Forever RIP
why cant it just be wrong period, instead of..."men do it too!!"?
Because it’s a hard thing for fans to accept and dudes are gonna resent having to stop fukking with shyt they love because women are fukking it up for them.

growing up, you were told the stuff you fukked with was wrong and you resented that and wanted to hear it more. Now people are getting older and realizing their old heads were right and it’s fukkin with them. Well, now there’s a new generation of fans who are gonna resent what you’re saying.

can't have it both ways

this is a negative spiral for the image of Black women mostly...

y'all can't say jews have all the power then have doors wide open for the degradation of Black people, even by Black people.

Slob on my nob was a single? Rap is pop now and it wasn't then so the main issue most people have is that this song was MADE FOR MAJOR PLAY. not a dirty album cut.

have fun raising future Black women in a world where WAP is cool. let's pretend like it's not already dead out here for the Black family structure... All these lil girls have as idols is whores
This ain’t Cardi B or Meg fault, parents gotta take the responsibility to raise and teach their own kids instead of relying on entertainers.

I don’t see a problem with none of this music, it is what it is. Music is all about the mood and what’s trending. If you have any kind of emotional intelligence you would realize that hip hop is entertainment and not everything is for everyone. A female could turn up to WAP and still not be a hoe.

Maybe I am missing something, because I truly don't get the big deal. Video wasn't even sexy to me, it was like a cartoon. These lyrics are not outrageous, based on the precedent that has been set. Now as far as the impact on the community I am of two minds. Having 9 year old, precociously developed girls walking around singing "Wet Ass p*ssy" and twerking isn't a good look. However, is that a result of the song or the result of negligent parenting or poor modeling? If there was no nasty song to sing or dance to, would this child be on a healthy track in life or would they just get into something else? I enjoy nasty shyt. I don't think it's good for impressionable kids. We can't blame nasty shyt for the state of the culture/community though. Wild shyt was going on when "My Girl" topped the charts. I know old heads try to front but talk to some old heads that keep it real. People been on that nasty shyt. I don't begrudge women for making nasty songs. I actually enjoy it. However, there is nothing powerful or artistic about shyt like this. This is not feminism or equality. It's actually the exact opposite. Being a "whore" because you "want to" is still being a whore and selling your self.

why cant it just be wrong period, instead of..."men do it too!!"?

Because that requires accountability and discipline. Where is the fun in that? It's not about equality. It's about doing what "I" wanna do and not having to take responsibility for it.

People singing along to a classic Three 6 Mafia song...:mjtf:

:gucci: I don't know about you, I sing the first few lines of that song in the same vain I sing Future's rendition on King's Dead.

Slob on my knob like corn on the cob
Check in with me, and do your job
Lay on the bed, and give me head
Don't have to ask, don't have to beg

That's it after that.

Ain't no way im saying, "Squeeze on my nuts, lick on my butt" with my whole chest in any capacity.

It's a classic, but nah...

lil girls these days don't have much alternative to ratchet content and that's on us all of us not them. their values will directly be drawn from what they see and hear because WE ACCEPT IT, they grow up in a world we have made for them. There's no balance in the female rap scene, it's overwhelmingly ratchet. The r&b scene is like 60-40 on the ratchet side... all type of content and subject matter that is overwhelmingly present to them was dictated by us and our own choices aka the culture. the skew and those numbers are an entire message on their own. people are not stupid, they learn from what we deem acceptable as much as what we tell them. you can sit there and tell your daughter to be a goody 2 shoes all you want but when she go outside and all she see is US celebrating hoe culture, the young brain will start doing its own calculations as to where the truth lies.

if you wanna keep juelzing and rolling dice on lost generations then do you. we already have the most detached and confused generation of young black MEN I've ever seen. look how fast we went from being the most adept at rejecting of gay culture to the ones steeped in it the most... all that outside influence is not negligible and it came via media....

Better question: what makes it wrong?
promoting selling your body? using people (men) for money?
whats wrong with that?

Whats wrong w/ having children out of wedlock?
hurt feelings that comes from having casual sex...
confusion...
chasing validation via sex...
...disease..

A lot of women talk a good game...
...but they arent happy when living that lifestyle...
...they end up being used up and feeling empty at the end.

I dont care how freaky they talk....ive seen it time and time again.

its not about the song...
...its about the genre in general.

Like...why do we have to keep pretending this isnt a problem is damn near all black communities?

That sex talk is what’s popping right now in female rap. Better for chicks to rap about it and make money than actually going out and selling box to feed themselves.

It’s the choice of a parent if they want hip hop culture to grow their young daughter.
