I used to do cardio (mainly running) at the gym after i lifted and I never really lost much weight from it. Then one day I had to be honest with myself that I was bout to get an induction to Larry Holmes Garden if I aint make some changes

So bout 6 months ago I started counting calories and being consistent keeping it under my maintenance amount and in those 6 months I lost bout 20-25 pounds, (from 225-230 to about 205 now) kept all my strength and dropped my body fat from like 18-20% to now around 11% or so. I still do some cardio occasionally, but its mainly just some light work on the elliptical, no long ass running sessions like I used to do
I aint saying that cardio is bad......but for me personally making changes to my diet was wayyyyy more effective for losing body fat
