Whole shyt slaps and I can't stop listening to it. The only thing that throws me off is the bassline on the intro, shyt gives me a headache. I had to create a high pass version with less bass so it wouldn't throw me off.

Yeah, it took me a second to get used to the mastering on the entire album. Sounds ok to me now, but the Intro is still sketchy. Cardo's album levels in general always sound a little off to me though. I wish he'd use whoever Larry June uses for the finalization.

He said in an interview that he just produces the shyt raw and sends it to guys and have them do it for him, so it's probably inconsistent because he might have different guys doing quality control and touch ups on the beats. That one is the only one I really have a problem with, the bassline he chose to use sounds way too muddy and loud.

I produce though so it could just be my producer ears and maybe other people don't feel the same way.

That sucks that he does all this great work just to have someone hack it up in the end. I'm probably one of the least musically inclined person here, and I can easily tell the shortcomings in all of his projects when it comes to the mixing. It's actually a big reason why I put LJ's, Out The Trunk over Mr Midnight tbh. Boss Ballin 2 isn't done very well either. For some reason the first tracks always suffer it the worst I noticed. I love this track, but a good mastering job would have made it 10x better.

Payroll been a favorite of mine for a while, I think I started listening to "My First 10" in November 2014, so it's been about 6 years. That new solo track is essential Payroll. That last EP, from a few months back was solid, the lyrics felt light to me, "My Life" and "Validation" were standouts.

Never listened to June, but I'll see what I take from this album.

Kayo Wit Tha Yayo Flow:gladbron:...if you don’t know who Kayo Wit Tha Yayo is, kill yourself.

I definitely didn’t know. Before I one myself tho, what’s the back story? I’ve never seen that alias mentioned before. I been up on Cardo as a producer, but never seen any interviews or heard mention of him rapping.
