Thats not how that works. Itll just show on your end it’s secure but its really not. The actual site itself needs a SSL certificate

You said it took you 5 times to connect securely. That means in some way the feature is enabled. Https everywhere just sends a request telling the website to use that feature everytime it see it’s enabled. Whether it’s enabled for pics, all the webpages or text is a different story. Again, just take precautionary measures from your side. regardless if a website or an application uses TLS/SSL individuals should still have measures put in place.
