When I win I bring we with me
So I've recently been put in charge of setting up the family vacation.

We've always gone on family vacations since forever but we've been damn near everywhere in the states(except maybe the north west) So I decided we need to go somewhere new if I was going to go anywhere with them.

We haven't been out the country in a while so I suggested somewhere close but new, like Mexico. To which everyone was like :francis: So I suggested if not Mexico then a cruise which everybody gave the green light too ...after which promptly throwing the planning of in my lap.

I've narrowed it down to basically...

OPTION 1 of 2:
Carnival cruise line
  • Mobile AL port - 5 day cruise to Yucatan peninsular(3 ports)
  • New Orleans LA port - 7 day cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Yucatan
So I get to goto Mexico either way :lolbron: ...and follow in the footsteps of Mansa Musa and see where they got off da boats :wow:......

OPTION 2 of 2:
Get a charter and go where da fukk we want...

Lagoon 500 Catamaran | From US$ 6,500/wk
Caribbean Sailing Yacht.

Lagoon 500 Catamaran Specifications
Type/Year: Caribbean Sailing Yacht./2007 - 200
Guests: 12 guests
Cabins: 4 double, 1 twin, 2 singl

At $6,500 /12 guest = $542/wk (before taxes and fees)
If they do prorated pricing we could cut that in half by only doing like 3-4 days at sea :jbhmm:

Any coli bruhs fukk wit Yacht chartering before :lupe:
  • How much does a skipper typically charge to pilot the boat each day?
  • Do they typically allow pro-rated fees or do you have to go by the entire 7 day rental?
  • Can you pay a skipper to pick up and return your rental?
  • Can you Get the skipper to pick you up at any given port?
(I.E. can you do something like get a skipper to pick up the boat in the Bahamas then sail to Miami / fort lauderdale to pick you up, then have them return the boat to the Bahamas after your done?)

:damn:
Put ya boy up on some game

Go on a big cruise ship. There's so much to do and so many hoes

And I think the better ships leave out of Florida

Well... :francis:
  • My brother didn't want to be driving all day just to get to the boat(Hence the mobile & N.O. ports)
  • His wife don't want to be at sea for a long ass time(Hence the charter)
The charter gives the ability to shorten the trip and still have a novel experience. Though the catch is that we may have to drive / fly a ways to get to the Yacht in the first place.
The Mobile & New Orleans ports gives the shortest drive distance to a port but are at sea 5-7 days, not to mention those are the ports that take you to western Caribbean
(Which is somewhat "poetic" given the whole thing started with me suggesting Mexico or a cruise anyway ...why not do both!)
