Carlito's Way. The ****?

Honestly the only thing I didn't like about Carlito was him trying to get move away for life with 75k... 75k??? That's it??? 75k going to last you five years max..

it was a different age and time then.
we, in general as the audience.
did not live the concept of money.
via real time actualization in urban nyc to internationally in that era.
to know wtf it is to it, to say tho.

the story is well written from that perspective.
the movie is annoying if you are in the life.
as it paints carlito far from being hood or socialized in development from the hood to know better. Plus, it has to much integration for a black urban street person from a super gang territory based era to buy into fully.
yet still understand the dynamics.
while being annoyed at the lack of brevity and urgency to do certain things or not do certain in this movie.

real talk,..
this is a movie better served for a real life discussion with your friends. Than a movie online.
as you can not really indepthly talk about this film in full publically online to be honest.

it has certain components to it.
that to achieve full applied knowledge after a discovery zone of this film. It just can not be wholely discussed online.

not to mention only the real cerebral in person.
are gon really have the discussion on the components of this film in full.

This is one of those films you talk about covertly not in public.

I kinda feel a certain way at this age even posting about it.

yet i need ti post this disclaimer about discussing this particular film.
which is you can't discuss this particular film indepthly online at all like that frfr. So I won't entertain much about this film publically.

past what i purposefully have supplied in the past.

most of what i spoke in in the past in this movie has dealt with penn'a character.
which has to have a public online discussion.
yet that discussion leads into that which.
cannot readily be spoke on as well.
especially as far as the situation on the generational differences.
between carlito and the serial killer benny.

Two things I didn't like about the movie were that it basically showed Carlito's fate at the very beginning, and Gale seemed like a mismatch for him.

Also, what do you think about Al Pacino's Puerto Rican accent? Is it even close to legit?

I don’t know if it’s an an accurate accent. I don’t think his Cuban accent was accurate either. The accent being off and over-the-top probably made it more memorable.

Al Pacino and Penelope Ann Miller actually started dating after this movie.

I recommend the books if you can find them. The judge in the opening scene of Carlitos Way is an actual judge (Edwin Torres)

I think its a fantastic movie. I can't remember what I said years back, but I watched it fairly recently and its perfectly executed. Pacino may have done a slightly shytty accent, but whatever he sells it because hes a GOAT actor.

I always hated this! Especially with how it plays in the last 15 mins leading up to the end. Why spoil that in the first scene? Makes no sense
