By far. Carlton used to have me in tears.

Carlton isn't a c00n. A c00n is a person who understands the facts and still acts like there is nothing wrong.
My take on him is that initially he was sheltered and privillaged to the point he truely didn't understand the real... but I remember one episode when he got harassed by a cop and that shyt hit him like a ton of bricks.
He had the same expression as Don Lemon when he was out in Ferguson and the cops gave no fukks about his press badge.
Plus when Will gets shot Carlton gets a gun ready to hit those streets.
Carlton is about that life... he's just a late bloomer.

But the best Carlton moments was when Geoffrey's son came and he started acting British, and he got dumped by that one bad ass chick at the hotel I think cuz he ain't wanna put out and he's all like "Bu bu but I love you.....

It seriously gave you everything.
It's obviously everything changed in the last 3 seasons, but, it was still a fun show with less social messages.
I have no beef with Daphne Maxwell-Reid, but, it was like Uncle Phil married another woman. I don't even think they referenced her as a PHd, at all, once she went light-skin. The Season 3-6 Aunt Viv was so neutered. She was just a mother.
They made her light skinned and non-threatening. Dark Viv was accomplished and on some cougar shyt plus a way better fit when you consider Ashley and Carlton's characters being darker.
