Locked Down
1975.jpg

In the Nuggets' Game 2 victory over the Lakers, Carmelo Anthony limited Kobe Bryant to just two buckets on six attempts when isolated one-on-one. Melo's teammates couldn't cope as well, however, allowing Bryant 16 points on 8-for-14 shooting.

Did you read what you quoted?

Even it says "limiting".

Limiting =/= Locked down

Shh Stanley

Leave that type of talk to the 14 year olds pimp. Act like an adult.

anything else you want to say ? If they could inbound the ball in game one you would of been down 1-0 already in my scenario

Denver was down by 2 with 30 seconds left when that steal occurred.

Lets say they inbound it. Does that mean they score? NO.

And even if they do score. Does that mean the Lakers don't score on the next possession? NO

People tend to ignore that Denver was losing in BOTH games when they made the inbound turnovers.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
See I know how the west was it I don't want to hear that excuse used to downplay melo advancing because all last season all we heard was how he loses in the first round . The nuggets were the favorites and hadHCA on a court they dominated on during the season . The Knicks and nuggets both were higher seeds so that they could play easier first round Matchups , the nuggets didn't live up to their end.
Cp3 has also never been to the WCF. So I guess you agree that he's overrated

The Knicks beat a Rondo-less Beantown squad. The Nuggets, without Gallo who was key to our historic season, got beat by a very surprising and very good GSW team (who I know was missing a key piece in David Lee after game one). All that is neither here nor there, though. Neither team made it past the second round.

And I didn't say Melo is overrated. :what: I like his game. He's one of my favorite players. You seem to act like the nikka is perfect, though. Like nikkas can't criticize any aspect of his game or acknowledge his culpability in his teams not winning enough.

unless the Knicks become the 2011 version of the Dallas Mavericks, there's no way in hell that the Knicks are even sniffing the ECF, let alone the Finals.

Melo can't lead a team by himself, and the supporting cast looks :flabbynsick: your second option is Jr Smith, who won't be in uniform till Christmas at least. Yikes!

I never said melo wasn't the least but responsible or cupable .... I like how your trying to spin getting upset into something that's not disappointing . The gallo lose is negated by lee and currys ankle
But anyway going back It is relevant it goes back to my point , whatever reason you want to say the nuggets lost ( as they do every year pretty much under Karl ) he left Denver to have a better chance at getting to a finals. Getting to the second round game 6 , final minutes loss is closer than the nuggets .

The D (where it's so cold)

And it could be worse if the Knicks get off to a rough start and need JR to come back too soon.
