I’ve listened to all things fab.

Neither are writing the deepest bars. IMO there’s only a handful that does (Ka (RIP), Lu,) Cole is by far a better rapper than Fab. Cole has a top 4 feature run (Wayne, Eminem, Busta), a classic, sales, longetivity, influence, and impact: he’s objectively ranked higher than Fab for sure.

I think that beats Coles feature run that was nice,but my jaw wasnt dropping during most of it. Do you know Fab would drop a bar like "I hear the rumors,but nikkas wont say they said it. They know Duke got a shooter like JJ Reddikk" and there would be an entire thread on it? Have we ever made a thread about a J Cole bar? Im Sorry,hes obviously nice,hes just now wowing you on any metric imo. Fab was instrumental in creating an entire generation of mixtape fans,who were fans of a sub genre called "punchline rap".

I don’t think any of these 35-40ish guys belong in the top 10 or are even that that nice like that but I’m fully aware that that could just be my old man bias talking (I’m alright with it too)…but Cole gets busy, he’s nice. I think he’s a better rapper than Kendrick and Drake, . I can easily come off the head with 10 dudes I would feel nuts putting J Cole ahead of all-time tho.
