I'm not talking him taking money because Phil himself wanted melo here Phil himself used the loyalty angle to get him to stay

When your old they always trade you for picks but have the team did what they was supposed to do by putting a good team around you?

You as a player supposed to stay and win no matter how bad the franchise is and that's why I say think about yourself
I agree with you saying think for yourself and wish most of these athletes did...

I'm just telling you why fat Iverson stayed in NY...

It wasn't out of loyalty, he took the highest offer on the table...No team could have offered him more money than the Knicks...He chose money over winning and deserves everything that's happened to him...I don't care what Phil offered him, everybody knows the Knicks are loser franchise, you don't sign to them expecting to win...Its a team you sign to when your a year or two away from retirement because Dolan will always pay top dollar...

And people wonder why players in their prime look for greener pastures

Because when you get old all that loyalty and stay please we love you goes out the window

Bottom line look out for your self

fukk that "we will respect you because you stayed and never won a title" bullshyt

I agree. However, the Knicks were the greener pastures for Melo and he's never had an issue looking out for himself.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
It would have to be a 3 maybe 4 team deal

I feel like KOQ as their backup PF/C would make that a hard deal to say no to for the Celtics. Ainge is arguably the best trader in the league though so the Knicks would have to stay firm on getting those Brooklyn picks.

Flip side that new CBA makes getting Gordon Hayward tougher and Melo and him aren't that different production wise.

Are you stupid?

The Celtics would give up the Brooklyn picks for Carmelo Anthony? Gtfoh

Chris Paul is a strong rebounder, he averages 5.4 a game and for a point guard that's pretty damn good.

Melo averages 6.1 while shooting 42.5% for those 22 points. Shooting 18.5 times to get 22 points isn't exactly what you want from your "leader".

CP3 was a bad example, but you understand my point. And PG, Wiggins, Love, Booker are all shooting under 44% & under & averaging around the same amount of pts as Melo.

Plus shyt defense, a toxic attitude and ruins the offense. I used to defend him but he's been indefensible

What toxic attitude? Please show an example of him being disruptive or having beef with teammates.

Funny how Melo's & PG13's numbers are VERY similar, but nobody is calling him a bum :jbhmm:

He should take the buyout this year, join one of the contenders. get a 3 year deal in the summer...
:ohhh:Now that's interesting. What if, the nikka decides to get a buyout instead of getting traded and go anywhere he wants to.

:philjacksonlol: Sign to the Cavs for the minimum.
