Unless the Knicks outright cut him and pay him his remaining money there's really nothing they can do.

Even if Melo were to allow a trade to LA you'd still need the Clippers to say yes.
if phil told melo to his face that he wants him gone
and then put it out to media, no way melo stays
i can even see him expandiing his choices to a few other teams
its no way hes dealin with that bullshyt every day for 2 years
its mad disrespectful

i still think clippers would take that melo trade with blake being a free agent and always hurt
clippers have had the same team for 5 years, its not working.
it would be worth a gamble

Rose literally missed a game without telling anyone and immediately was put back in the lineup. Melo doesn't give a shyt about any of that stuff at the end of the day because nothing changes anyways. Some silly meeting with Phil won't do anything. His contract sucks. It is what it is. He'll probably shut it down after the ASG anyways.

Fanbase deserves it

All they care about is a Melo having his ppg consistently high and they love the guy

My man said the fans deserve it. :skip:
This nikka is so hurt. :mjlol:

I already know you're story, breh...

It's a heart breaking tale.

"2012, my life changed forever. Looking through the stain glassed windows of the chapel where we were to get married.

Barely seeing my own reflection, I thought to myself, 'Where did it all go wrong?'.

Let me take you back to that moment when I caught my fiance in our studio apartment getting dug out by a husky NY man in his youth wearing Timbs and a Knicks jersey.

This is my story. #AFrumpLife

Let me help you write the screenplay.:feedme:

imo, melo is a one dimensional player who will NEVER win a title. I consider him, dwight howard & deron williams all in the same category-they will NEVER even come close to winning a chip. They have angered the basketball gods by forcing trades, not honoring contractual obligations & being over all "wussies" [if anyone knows what this term means haha].

Melo forced the trade from denver to nyc, then had the audacity a year or 2 ago to be like-I've never been a free agent, I want to see what that's like..after the knicks GUTTED the team to get his ass. [and they were decent before he got there]. Then payed him all that dough, only for this? I mean how could any real knick fan believe melo would lead y'all to a chip?! you knew what you were getting by watching him in Denver.

not to mention that fight in the garden where melo stole on the little dude then backpedalled from a true confrontation.

the real question is who's going to take this no defense playing, I need at least 30 shots a game, shooting something like 9 for 30 ass dude?

This is a fair take.

melo isn't the problem in NY. i pay attention to stats and the vast majority of games he's not out there chucking....he takes a reasonable amount of shots.

his lack of defense is his only real liability.

with kristaps & rose their he's shown this year, aside from a couple games, he doesn't need to try to put the team on his back like that, and i think he's been pretty good about that this year for the most part.

the knicks' real problem is a short handed roster and lack of good defending role players. if they pick up just 3 players who can fill that void i think they can be a contender.

rose is kind of a problem right now. i feel he's under achieving and needs to step his shyt up and be more aggressive. i find it hard to believe that he's really regressed and is only 70% the player he used to be, but that's what he looks like right now. and he's my favorite player in the league and the only reason i'm even a knicks fan

This is a two-sided problematic situation, the Knicks are an outright embarrassment of a franchise and Carmelo is at a point where he refuses to leave this team and allow them to completely reset, but still gives the organization alot of blame when he can leave whenever. You can't remark about being a loser and then keep on staying at a loser place.
