Melo is still good player in the league. His steep decline did not happen. He just isn't a number one in the league. I just hope he knows that. If he knows that and accept his post knick career will be fine.

Last year he was defending well and that disappeaed again this year as well as the fact he's not a great playmaker means a steep decline wasn't necessary.

He's pretty much a scorer only at this point and what sort of teams need a 33 year old 2nd option that doesn't do much else while making 22 million a year?

Gotta disagree as evidenced to him having 10 assist in a game just a week ago. Not to mention going for 30 11 and 7 the game before that. Melo still can rebound and is a good passer. Defense, he needs to a strong ass coach. Fisher had him playing d last yr. H
