u guys just make shyt up
phil said countless times before and after that he wasnt taking the job without full control
his ego wouldnt allow any less
he wanted to keep melo
hes playing outdated little mind games with melo and he just aint having it

Bruh....NO ONE...AND I MEAN NO ONE....will ever truly have full control in the role as long as Dolan is alive.

Dolan ALWAYS buts in....the month leading up to Free Agency Phil was quoted as saying "I'm fine with him leaving, I'm fine with him staying" that's not exactly a ringing endorsement from someone who's intent on keeping their star player.

It's obvious who in this thread follows the Knicks.

phil has full control over PLAYER signings
phil said he went to dolan with a hypothetically about "wanting to not resign a popular player" and asked dolan if he would be cool with it and dolan said yes.

knick fans ran dolan out of the spotlight
hes strictly there to cut cheques and count his money
he doesnt even want the blame anymore.

i follow the knicks every day, your statement is outdated

phil has full control over the coaches, players and he fukked up

phil said that statement cause he was playing mind games as usual

Dolan even gave Donnie Walsh the power to make the Melo trade in the 1st place

The hate is illogical & dumb. Dude is still averaging 22 & 6 at the age of 32, yet people are acting like he's LAC Paul Pierce status. People give him sh*t for not being a playmaker, when that HAS NEVER been his game. That's like getting mad at CP3 for not being a strong rebounder. He's not LeBron & never was going to be.

The thing is he's a pretty good playmaker and doesn't get enough credit for it be may not be a point foward but he's a good passer

This is how the meetings gonna go

Phil is gonna tell Melo that he's getting up their in age and if he wants to go somewhere where he can win now the move might be beneficial for both sides

Melos gonna tell him he's not leaving which is because his brand is what's most important to him

Both sides will tell the public that their both on the same page and that their both happy and that the rumors about wanting to trade Melo were false

:mjlol::mjlol:At emotional Melo stans trying to compare Ewing and Melo. Melo doesn't deserve a quarter of the empathy that Pat deserved. Comparing arguably the greatest player in team history to a bum ass chucker who consistently misses the playoffs?:hhh::hhh:

melo aintt no fukking bum gtfoh with that

You're wrong.

Phil wanted full control and power over Dolan

And if you're on phil's nuts at least blame him for basically having the team the same in the standings every year

They haven't gotten better

And he locked up their cap space on Courtney lee and joakim Noah

Courtney lee isn't even starting anymore

The only thing he hit on is porzingis and that's only because the trade fell thru where he would have gotten Sullinger and multiple picks for that had Jordan not had a crush on kaminsky
