Gold droppin' like a muthaf*cka worst idea ever :mjlol: He needs put that sh*t in as many CDs and bonds as possible, live off the interest, get educated on the markets, and then make the best moves he feels possible with the interest he's collecting. He should only cash in the CDs and bonds for below market real estate deals/business deals. Gold is a store of value, nothing more, nothing less. Unless you can physically take possession of the gold, those gold certificates you bought are worthless, good luck getting the gold dealer to open that vault open if/when the dollar crashes. :heh:

That's dropping now but when the dollar crashes nikkaz gonna need gold or other precious goods to barter. Golds uses are endless. Warren Buffett recently cashed out on his Real Estate investments. Real Estate aint where its @. Most athletes go broke off R.E.. especially with the U.S. debt approaching 20 trillion soon R.E. aint liquid no more unless he buying tax sales.

If that condo he owns in Manhattan is filed as his primary residence, Let's add up the top tax brackets.

39.6% federal income tax

8.82% NYS income tax

3.876% NYC income tax

=

52.296% in taxes:huhldup:

:mindblown:

So 52% of his yearly salary is gone? :mindblown:
Taxes have to be the only reason these athletes go broke. :damn:

Dont forget...your agent takes 3%....Jalen Rose did a great podcast on how athletes go broke on his grantland channel. Homie broke it all the way down. It makes sense why it happens, thats why it keeps happening over and over again.

Link to the podcast? It isn't just the excessive spending that kills them, it's spending like their contracts aren't taxes is what probably kills them the most.

I found an article that mentions the before tax payment
(CBS) How much was your most-recent paycheck?

If it wasn’t approaching $25 million, then you’ve got nothing on Kobe Bryant.

As part of his contract agreement, Bryant will receive a balloon payment of $24,363,044 today from the Lakers, which is 80% of his salary this season. He’ll make a total of $30,453,805 in 2013-14.

The 35-year-old shooting guard will receive the remaining $6.1 million throughout the rest of the season.

To date, Bryant has made $249,284,257 in his NBA career.

What the fukk...

That number dont even look real, like what the fukk breh:why:

My pitiful life..

Every independent contractor receives his compensation in full and pays his taxes after he files.

That goes for real estate agents, athletes, lawyers, bankers, musicians, etc they all live like that.

Its a common practice. The problem is these athletes are airheads who had their hand held by "coach" since they were a child.

So they get the money and live extra extravagant then realize they done blew through their whole salary and come April IRS done sent them a bill for $13,781,962.33 due immediately.

and thats for one year..
