I don't even feel sorry for Melo he could've left in free agency last year & be in a much better situation, now he's stuck with a team that could be lottery bound for the rest of his prime years.

Melo is an entire defensive team that can shut down other teams and also has a secondary scorer away from a championship. Melo can only win a championship with the completely right team around him so hating on your draft because you guys have Melo is retarded. Any player you would have picked wouldn't have helped the Knicks compete at a meaningful level, be real.

so we going the ignore the fact that Melo won 54 games and got the second round with JR smith as the second option? I bet if he played along side another star player he would be very successful

I really wish we would've let Melo walk last summer. If the Knicks are truly rebuilding there's no point in keeping a guy who could be on the brink of retirement by the time this team is competitive.

That was the only year the knicks had a balanced roster of young players and veterans. They also dealt with a lot of injuries but still won 54. U add another star in the mix and we looking at the conference finals atleast

Exactly...even best case scenario they sign Monroe, West, Green who is their Center or PF? Are they really set with just Calderon.l.Basically they make this move and become a playoff team but not a threat to make it out of the first round. granted they can't tank this season as they don't even own their own 1st RD pick but they may need to just go ahead and blow this thing up.
