olodipo was hurt damn near the whole season last year
and kanter played well during the season last year untill the playoffs where he couldnt guard his position and was pretty much usuless

Russ is the problem. His game is fundamentally flawed despite his talent and heart. He's the one who needs to make a change the most. Melo is a role player in that system. He's not the primary reason they suck.

again, if melo goes to the bench who are they going to replace him with that is going to make the offense better ? they NEED melo in that lineup as he is their quickest trigger and gets the most respect as a shooter whether he is off or on. the defense already doesn't guard roberson, so you going to throw in another forward that can't shoot ? patterson ? grant ?

This has been the main issue. You have 3 20+ scorers on the same team. They should all be getting easy shots, not the iso heavy offense they've been running.

Plus people putting the full blame on Melo is lazy since him, PG and Russ have had plenty of games this season were they all shot like shyt. All 3 guys are shooting 42% or less on the season.
