Only problem is, he's not leaving.
Oh, and he plays PG and is the primary ball handler for his team (because he can't play off the ball), leading his team not only in usage, but touches, giving him more opportunities to score and when ever he goes to the basket, either A: the defender(s) move out of the way or B: they call a foul for an 'and 1'. this gives him an extra 6 to 16 points. Also, when he was in Cleveland and 'Melo in Denver, 'Melo out-played him and won almost every time. 'Melo does not play PG, never has, and does not lead his team in touches because the PG does. Moreover, Lj averages more fga's per game than 'Melo for their careers. Lj went after 'Melo's 62 because he wanted to be like him. 
Just like he did in Boston when Rondo went off for 43. Considering that he'll be 30 soon, I don't think there's any hope that he'll ever grow up.

Bron's a better scorer. Melo's deadly 3pt shooting now has closed the gap though. Lebron averages 27.5 to Melo's 25.3 over their careers, on better percentages too.

Click here for the definition of a dunker/layup guy is Lj. If scoring was scoring, Roy wouldn't be so maligned for his scoring percentages, considering that he's a score in the paint guy. Your argument has nothing to do with how distance to the basket affects FG% and that is the debate at hand.
