Most of the shows u mentioned were different types though (I disagree on funniness too) GL was more of the Fresh Princeold than the Martin mold (family structure, kid friendly). I just think GL does not get enough credit. That nikka mama was straight up hilarious. She went in on everybody . The wife, son, Earnie, cougar at the job, niece, boss, and all the cameos were funny as hell too.

I don't think it has any thing to do with her being able to speak Spanish or not. They obviously just found a girl who could pass for a Latina rather than to cast an actual Mexican American actress......They're some out there.
