I understand the speaker thing as that can be annoying, but the no rap music reminds of how clubs in the states used to implement special rules to not allow in black people.

Carnival has the right to do this as a cruise line but I hope the black people they are trying to keep out reject it and let the numbers speak for themselves.

I can’t celebrate this.

If you ever just sit and take notice of the music in a lot of public areas you will notice this is already a thing.

I was at Kalahari near Dallas last month and they play music videos on a giant tv near the wave pool.

They do not play hip hop. They play plenty of R&B and some artists I would consider hip hop adjacent like Aaliyah but not straight up rap.

I don’t blame them, especially when people say playing that music forces them to start climbing on furniture and twerking. Best to just avoid it altogether.

Carnival cites "safety reasons" for the specific ban for hand-held fans, made popular by "Boots on the Ground: Where Them Fans At?" line dance by 803Fresh, where dancers loudly "clack" fans on certain parts of the song. The cruise line says the "clacking" could cause accidental injuries.

What safety reasons and accidental injuries could happen?

I agree with personal bluetooth speakers being banned and drinks being enforced. Don’t nobody want to hear 8 speakers competing with their own music plus whatever the ship is playing. I also agree with a curfew for 17 and under. Get your ass back in your room by 1, that’s a respectable late time. And the fans…well that’s funny, wonder what fukkery went off there lol

Your boy just turned 41. What is this fan nonsense, and why is it vital to a cruise ship?
Think ChaChaSlide and a Country Line dance mashed together, I posted the vid(music vid) a few posts up. For women, the fans are part of the dance.

Here is a vid of the dance being done on a cruise, probably a carnivale one lol
