There's a plethora of West Indians that do Labor, in America and have the day off. The original parade was in Feburary which correlated to Carnival in Trinidad but it's brick in Feburary in NYC. So yea, this broad is a bird to the utmost extent.

There's a term in the Caribbean called 'a freeness' which pretty much translates into a gathering or get together in which said persons can enter and enjoy the revelry and partake of the refreshments and such. So in other words, the majority of Caribbean folk who attend labour day celebrations are out because it's free, there's food and drink and music. I'd bet not near none of 'em are twerking in appreciation to whatever happened in American culture to get that shyt started.
