Left for the DR last Sunday with the family. Thought Wife and I would stream it at the resort, once kids went to bed but was tough all week. Watched it last night when we returned.
Overall, I enjoyed the season. Not gonna rank but found myself laughing a lot during this one, though the finale was dark the entire way through.
I was certain weeks ago that Gaitok was going to be in a shootout with the owner's henchmen or the Russians, and thought we were headed that way when they teased him again about getting hit in the head during the robbery - but instead it was him poppin' Rick. I just don't get what Rick was thinking, going back to eat breakfast like shyt was sweet lol.
When I read the theories about Jim Hollinger being Rick's father, I really was hoping it wasn't that obvious, but guess it was. Wish we learned a tad more about his Mom/Jim's relationship, or was the Mom just sending Rick on a revenge mission? I don't know. Either way Chelsea was just too naïve. Saxton's heartbreak ala Ralph on Simpsons was some superb facial acting. Breh was broken.
Still torn if Lachlan should have actually died or not. They did that well, and would have been fitting. I know the actor cleared up the questions on why he would use the blender that was sitting out over night, he said it was Lach thinking it was Saxton's left over protein (super pause/sans pun) from his morning routine - but that is still gross - wash that shyt! Would a 19 year/old not wash out the blender first for real?
Happy for Belinda and her son and thought Pornchai seemed like a good dude but he jumped on her dream so quickly it almost felt sketch. Her giving him the Tanya treatment was the right move I think.
Laurie's monologue seems to be 50/50 with viewers, I didn't mind it - sounds like there was alot of monologues left on the cutting room floor, even Bibbs character had one.
Greg has to get got in season 4, right?? Still standing.
