Why are you taking responses so personal. You asked a question, we answered. The "War" was nothing but a political tool in addition to profit ambitions.fam I read plenty books on it, mostly notably gary webb's series and I never said we weren't involved, ala the last scene of sicario with josh brolin.
This is just one part of the bigger picture.
War on Alcohol, War on Drugs, War on Poverty - all these so called "wars" fought and never won. Smoke and Mirrors.
The shocking story behind Richard Nixon's 'War on Drugs' that targeted blacks and anti-war activists | American Enterprise Institute - AEI %

Do you really think America is engaging in the drug trade, just out of the kindness of their own hearts bc they care so much about American citizens
just like there is an increased coorelation between drug control and drug usage. Drug prohibition and drug "wars" were a way to keep certain suppliers in check, drive competitors out of the market which gave rise to the cartel industry. And there's people in here talking about traveling to those other countries aren't safe with all these red alert warnings - how and where do you think most of the violence stems from? Right here in the good ole USofA, most of those countries would not even be militarized without the assistance of the CIA and federal government.
all the fukkin weapons governments and militaries have access to. Syria isn’t as rich as Mexico and was using weapons on ISIS that would make your skin crawl but Mexico is defenseless huh?
I'm going to stop talking to you about this, because obviously you have not paid attention or analyzed facts.
.. Congress has had their hand in the pot since 1906, the current "war on drugs" as we know it started around the 70s with Nixon. The problem is you think there is an endgame when in reality the Cartels and Government are playing Battleship armed with nuclear weapons, while the average American public is playing Twister or Candyland thinking the first world doesn't have third world problems when what they both have in common is corruption, inequality, violence, poverty as a result on both sides. People filter out too much bc they don't look for first hand information. The U.S. economy is partially funded by drugs, law enforcement and prisons - funded by drug money, and the cycle continues.
