Mainstream got nothing to do with it, cause dude used to be arguably the best out. Right between Carter 2 and 3 when he put out Dedication 1 & 2 plus Drought 3. Dude was on another level. But now he's just oversaturated the market and at this point we've just heard too much material from him.
