I always liked Cartoon Network more than Nickelodeon and Disney when I was growing up. Don't get me wrong, Disney had Recess, Fillmore and Kim Possible. And Nick had Rugrats, Hey Arnold and the Kanan and Kel show. But Cartoon Network always had my attention.

Well damn, she went in.
I mean, kids need to know history. Up until high school I was educated in a majority black environment so we knew all types of black history, and I remember going to a predominantly white high school and it was surprising how little those kids knew, I'm sure it's gotten worse now because at one point they were calling slaves "immigrants"
I always felt like kids don't get properly taught history because they would be mad,depressed, shocked,etc. Especially in a mixed race environment because then you'd have a timeline of what went on and how recent all that stuff is, they act like Jim Crow was 200 years ago, when you've got folks that lived through it alive and well.
