I know a guy who was a hood booger. He lied to a WW about his age so he could smash.
Her family had money. More money than he thought.
She eventually found out his age but didn't want to give him up. She told him if he wanted to be around her that he needed to clean himself up.
She taught him how to walk, talk, dress etc. She even made up a story about him going to school to become a lawyer and then brought him around to smooze with the WP.
He enjoyed the life and connections so much he actually end up pursuing that law degree.
I won't bore you with the whole story but they guy is actually a sports agent now. Some of his biggest clients are Polo players and boxers.
He stopped with the WW because he said they were very abusive and just see BM as pet projects. He said he ALWAYS tries to tell his YN clients about being caught up with WW.
I don't want to tell all his business but he also does charity work in South Africa and recently did a documentary about a famous historical figure, paid for with his own money.
So, to answer your question, yes, these men are making and using these connections.
Oh boy's life is extremely impressive. He also wrote a book and he built his whole life on the backs of multiple, well connections WW.
