Let's see...
This was a pretty good tape. If you like NYC Body Slam music this is right up your alley. All things considered this guy definitely has a certain command of song for how short of a time he's been rapping. He's not saying too witty or rewind worthy but that's not his game. What he does give you is the energy of 10 men and charisma. What was shocking to me was how unapologetically east coast the sound was of this tape for the most part. There's a lot of good songs like Stick & Move, RIP Rollie, Decline but the standout for me was Old 50. OHB was dope too but I was disappointed in Chris Brown since I think of him as a talented rapper. That's my take
You ain't fukkin w The New 50?This the real 2X
1. Stick n Move
2. That One
3. Line Me
4. Tax Letter
5. Casanova
All fire, all have replay value
I understand the comparison, and I think I know where the disconnect is.
What Murda has on record, Casanova has in person.
I think Uncle Murda is really underrated as a writer, he sells that persona real well but he seems pretty laid back in real life. If he wasn't writing raps, he might be writing books on some Donald Goines shyt.
This guy's real life persona & energy lines up with some of the shyt Murda talks about. But Cas can't really write lol
I can understand the comparison between him and murda but imo they clearly sound different i could easily tell them apart if they were on the same track, people act like it's some future/desiigner shyt.
If anything , who he reminds me of is that nikka who was one half of the M.O.P, forgot his name, he kinda sound like busta too at times, i like his music anyway
