That's the idea, but depending on how much we paying Keenum it would be wasteful to draft a QB in the first RD.
Two year deal $18 million with Keenum then we do it...anything more than that their better off waiting till the 2nd to get a QB

Not a bad move by Broncos IF they draft a QB as well. I would rather do this than draft Cousins If I'm the Broncos.
He went from averaging single digit touchdowns playing 6 or more games in 2015 and 2016 to 22 touchdowns in 2017. That looks like a statistical outlier.
2017 might've just been a flash in a pan year for this dude.

They may but I really don't see why they would be interested in Cousins, at the least I would think they would give Teddy a chance to prove himself and then maybe next year if it doesn't work out consider a QB. They are already talking to Brees which would indicate how much money they would want to put at the position.
