I don't think they're trying to profit off of this battle though (even though obviously I'm sure they wouldn't mind lol); I think they're playing the long run game and trying to make a big splash and build their name up immediately with their first show... and if it works out well they'll be able to attract other marquee names and mainstream rap artists as well. They got a billionaire backer so they can afford it.
