I don’t think Cass give a fukk. He always been arrogant and think highly of himself. Plus he proved all of them wrong early even before his career took off. It's gotta be horrible to retell the same story for 20-30 years but you had a whole career outside that and trying to still do shyt... But they keep taking you back to 2002
Cause Philly nikkas ain't studio gangsters for the most part... And Philly, while huge, is a few small, close knit rapper/gangster community. If you rap, every rapper knows you and you been around them. If you a gangster, same applies..What Cassidy is sayin proves that Jay expected the best outta Beans and yet he threw it away by constantly getting locked up....
Cassidy didn't even reach his full potential either.
His first album was ok, his second album was good and he had a buzz with I'm A Hustla until he caught that murder charge, the third one had some joints too.
I think there's a dark cloud over Philly rappers in general.
Meek was about to meet the same fate as those two until Jay had him revitalize his image with the prison reform.
The Roots and Eve managed to weather through that cloud

But in NYC or ATL, you can be the man in Brooklyn and nobody cares about you in Harlem. You can be a killer in Queens and never have to venture over to Staten Island.
Philly nikkas CAN'T leave that game alone. They go home to Philly and all of that street shyt is right there waiting for them
