Ummm im not sure about the rest of ya but i got Diz winning this 2-1. First 2 rounds Diz had better lyrics and flows. Cass represented himself well but his bars were too basic in spots. Dated almost. Last round Diz dropped the ball so i gave that round to Cass. Good battle.

I gave cassidy the first based on him mimicking diz style and nailing it. Wasn't expecting that.

Cass gets the third too for obvious reasons.

I do give Diz the 2nd. But that's still Cass 2-1.

Diz said he had some incredible mind blowing shyt written for all three rounds which I do believe he's capable of but he didn't deliver and had a few dead spots and weak freestyles which really hurt his performance

Not the best battle I've ever seen but absolutely good enough for what it was. It was nice to see a veteran jump back in the ring and actually cook.

Didnt expect it? Mimicking your opponents style is an old school tactic. Hell, it was even in 8 mile. Although, Cass did a good job, the tactic isnt ground breaking. Its aimilar to cats airing out their own dirty laundry so the opponent doesnt get the chance to or loses impqct if they do it. But Dizzs best round is the first imo. If you literally go off the LYRICS, Dizz got him with better punch lines, multis, metaphors. Second round was Cass' worst. Rhymes are cool but based on what we get normally from the battle rap genre, way too basic. 3rd round Dizz clearly lost.

Well the whole event was awful, but the main event never even really happened except for that wack ass first round. Then the show ended abruptly

So people at least wanted to see what they paid for

:dead::dead::dead:

i cut that shyt of after cass was going into his second. it was after subtitles appeared. that nikka was horrible and they was booing his ass. Didnt know the battle was thrown in the bushes though. Good for cass they had a rematch or his legacy would end up same as reeds and canibus

I agree, Diz had all the personal ish in the 2nd, but his first was executed best. He started gettin' all sloppy like he does after that. Cass stayed consistent, even though he was mainly just doing his old style with the non-punches or basic ones. He clearly won though. I find it funny how Cass avoided responding to the personal ish, he just started talkin' about the crowd making noise when Diz was saying it and them wanting to hear him go again.

I'd give Cass the 1st round just because he surprised me with how strong he came, and how he flipped Diz style. After that I felt Cass rhymes took a major downturn, and Diz had better punches and setups. The body count/ bodies, count? line was nicer than anything Cass spit after rd 1, but really the 3rd wasn't really memorable for either guy :yeshrug:

I'd lean towards giving it to Diz just because at the end of the day, Cass overall performance was mediocre (even though consistent). At some points Cass rhymes were just :mjlol: His wife is a freak, they bang chicks together? :russ: Just some real :what: lines in there.

Wowwww Cass got this. I was tight af when I was reading the commentary in the Ether event thread... but... Cass really came out and made this shyt happen. Good shyt that they both made this happen and they both came to the table with something for their own fans. Too many battles seeing "top tier" cats just mailing it in.. that includes whoever ya fav is...

I got it 2-1. Cass with the first, Diz with the second, and Cass edged him out with the last. Diz last verse was hot gawbage :scust: that nikka done fell all the fukk off. Cass woulda been a legend in the early Smack DVDs days. Matter of fact, He need to battle one of them URL dudes. fukk these corny KOTD nikkas :childplease: Cass style is tailored for the Smack audience.

:whoa: He not ready for all that breh. His shyt was still old cass style and when cats that are not corn balls really get at him, I don't think he will be able to hide behind his reputation/legend. Imagine someone like Clips/Bigg K getting at Cassidy??? :huhldup: Bad look.

I think he needs to get at a Meek or a Drake... people with some real fan base outside of battle rap... he is not ready for a top tier fukkin him up:yeshrug:
