Also I am happy that Alucard finally got a chance to smile. It's one thing to see your mother burned alive, but then killing your own father, and having your friends leave you and then having to kill a bunch of greedy Vampire Hunters. Dracula, even with his 2nd chance, is not that fast to go back to the castle because when Alucard's name came up, his face just went to sorrow. He knows he fukked it up badly.

Great end to the series.

I thought Isaac stole the show in the season 3 finale fight scenes, and damn near crowned him MVP halfway through this one... but the OG trio put on a damn masterpiece themselves at the end.

I never played the Castlevania games so I wasn’t familiar with the characters or canon, but I thought this series was fantastic and that they tied up all the plot points in a satisfying way, while setting things up for future stories.

Definitely the gold standard of Netflix Anime.
