When everyone is a cac... maybe:sas2:
What’s that got to do with us over here?:sas1:

You had homogeneous government up until 2000. Maybe 1990. Either way, still had problems and still wasn't as good as those countries. Those countries have minorities as well. So social democracy wins. :ehh:

funny how the government can tell me how much i can raise rent, yet have no regulations on how much the prices for drugs can be raised

great point. now that i think of it even the corporate strategy used to acquire the patent/license is the exact same thing as buying an investment property.

But I do see the difference. Compare the two. Capitalism > all manner of race problems. Social Democracy > far more cohesion in the populace.

It helps if the capitalists stop fanning the hysteria over social democracy and admit that it's better for everyone in the short and long run. I don't mean the capitalist elites. I mean the capitalist base.

Again this premise assumes there is a comparable social democracy when there isnt. No country faces the social dynamics we face here in America...

You also are looking at governments with far higher approval ratings. How you conclude that a citizenry which distrust and despises its government can/will agree and accept(democratically) policies similar to those implemented by governments trusted and supported by their people is beyond me.
We are really in no way comparable... we are a different beast all together...
Humor me, which of those governments(which you believe can be compared side by side with America) is implementing a global military strategy?

definitely on the money with this one. broken clock and all......:ehh:

i somewhat disagree with second sentence...the distrust that americans have towards its government are directly related to disappointment with political outcomes...your argument is circular

another important factor are the political dynamics, due especially to our frankly weird system of elections
