i've worked in nuff kitchens to know that if someone violates that line then it's on.
i got knives, hot grease and 15 other angry, ignorant, greasy heads ready to put it on you.
when i worked in larger places, the divide between the front & back of the house was palatable.
if a server got spicy with a cook, all the cooks around stopped and
server:

let some rando customer walk up in the kitchen with that ra-ra...

there's a reason i told myself to never work in food service ever again.
