The thing is, there's nowhere to run on an island. You cant just pack up and drive to Georgia for a few days.

Im guessing you just have to try and get to some elevation to avoid flooding. In the future, islands probably need build some type of shelter in the mountains.

I saw an Instagram post where it says residents are urged to evacuate and I was thinking where you going on an island

My Brother in law in Montego Bay now. They landed Friday for a wedding. All flights for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are canceled. They are stuck now.

Hopefully for them, the storm stays on the east side but I pray for Jamaica as a whole. A front is going to push the storm but that’s not till Tuesday i believe.

They are straight on the west side so far. It will start to get crazy during the evening today though and into Tuesday morning.

Edit: My brother in law said that at 8pm last night. shyt looks spooky now.
