Potential US impacts outside of high surf are unknown at this time, something to watch over the next week or so.

What is known is that Lee is forecasted to become a Category 5 Hurricane.

Making a B line straight for Dekkklantis and Florida :wow:

Yeah we saw what happened with that Idalia disaster wish fulfillment fantasy. :skip:

It rained in GA more the day BEFORE the storm than during the actual hurricane and everyone is quiet as a church mouse about that forecast bust. They were so confident that NOTHING would be able to tame Idalia then a whole ass mass of dry air formed on the east side of the storm which pretty much evaporated all of the moisture that was supposed to pound SE GA and Savannah. Now SC and NC seemed to get pretty hard but that was akin to a major rain event more than a life threatening storm.

So just keep your expectations in check. Most models don't even have the storm coming close to Florida or the southern eastern seaboard. Subject to change, we'll just have to wait and see.

Hopefully it dies down and lands in the DMV area as a mild rainstorm.

We need the rain.
No bullshyt. My lawn yellow af
:heh: Brehs, there are many other ways you can hope for a rain system, you do not even want a brush from any system that was previously a category storm..

Hope that shyt turns back to sea and sees no land fall :sadcam:

Nah, we’ve had former hurricanes that dissolved down to a tropical depression before making landfall here. shyt was like a nice warm shower.
