The idea of catfishing, specifically in online dating. I wanna talk about it- is it shallow to call someone a catfish? is it shallow to then reject someone based on thier looks after they presented themselves differently ?do you think the root of it is entitlement on both ends of the parties involved..? and what do you do after you've been catfished?....And to the parties who do catfish, why do you do it?

I just got 'catfished' recently so I am just asking....

A few years back I did online dating and was catfished.

I mean the woman was the same, but she used pic when she significantly skinner. For example, in her pictures she looked petite, but in real life she was more thick. Not obese but not full body. When I saw her, I was lowkey ready to drive off and act like I didnt see her off principle alone, then delete and block her info.

But I lowkey gave her a chance even though, physically see wasn't my type. We had talked for a month prior and really connected.

Personally wise we were cool, but she wasn't on my level attractive wise. Ultimately I gave her a chance and we lasted about two years.

We clicked in many ways, but in the most obvious way, I wasn't attracted to her. It also came across with how I did went about romancing her.

Moving forward, i don't do online platforms. I meet enough women in real life. So I don't hurt my head with this shyt...

Also I don't think it's shallow to be attracted to what you're attracted, the truth is prior to breaking up, I was bound to cheat with someone on her with someone more on my level.
