WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The community held a vigil at Council Acres Park (located at 1500 Bagby Ave. in Waco) for the two slain cats found hanging from a utility line last month.

On May 20, Waco Animal Control received a call about two dead cats hanging from telephone wires. The dead animals were found in the 1700 block of S. 9th Street near Bagby Avenue.

A former Baylor University student, James Barnes was arrested on May 30 in connection with the incident and charged with cruelty to a non-livestock animal.

Some of these people got more empathy for cats or dogs than other people but let them beg for help in a situation, they damn sure arent calling for a cat or a dog to save them. just saying. But RIP to those cats though. Nothing wrong with the vigil for the cats.
