Update: 2 men in custody in connection with robbery

CROWN HEIGHTS - The two men accused of robbing and punching a young model in Crown Heights are now in custody.

Investigators say the suspects punched 21-year-old Gwendolyn Reyes in the face several times, and stole her cellphone and purse. It happened on Franklin Avenue back on Oct. 2. Police released surveillance video of the suspects.

Reyes suffered a broken nose and cuts to her face. Reyes and Community Advocate Tony Herbert thanked the community and the NYPD for their involvement in catching the men.

Police are still looking for Sanjae Douglas for questioning in regard to the robbery.

I took the greyhound bus up from NC a couple years ago the destination was 34st I believe right at the Garden...I met a very sexy and thick jamaican young lady who was from Miami and never been to new York before...by the time we stopped in Richmond VA I could tell she would be prey because she was very trusting and unaware of her surroundings....fast forward I hailed the girl a cab she was going to Atlantic ave I think somewhere in BK...I was concerned about her...I was going to Newark Nj and she said her family would be waiting for her
The next morning she called me
Said she got robbed for every damn thing right in front her auntie house...

I was like god damn...

Mid 90s were no joke. Bloods had hit nyc via rikers island and dudes were catching buck fifties left and right.
"What time is it" when u looked down at your watch ...buck fifty.
