Such heartfelt and powerful lyricism… atop an instrumental that perfectly matches that emotional weight

Cav is just ridiculously nice. His wordplay and patterns never get boring. And on top of that he's a great writer, not just rapping to rap
I will risk exaggerating and say he's one of the actual illest ever, on the mic
Criminally slept on, and I was one of those sleepers until Different Type Time
This new tape is terrific and has a great sound

Off first listen I take Sword Lillies, Knight of the East, and like you said, Judy is Forever. Not many rappers can (or even would) make a song quite like that
I expect this will change though, it's a really consistent project. No real misses in my opinion

Yep exactly, it's very satisfying because in addition his flow never stays in one place for too long, he's always bobbing and weaving, finding a new unexpected rhythm or cadence
