If the media isn't gonna vote Durant for MVP, they better sure as hell vote for Westbrook (and not because he's averaging a triple double), but he seriously needs to stop hunting for stats. Just imagine all the added impact he could have on the game if he chose to make the right play instead of the stat play.

Oladipo damn near botched that

LeBron didn't even bother trying to get back

Pathetic
I've been critical of his inconsistent defense this season, but the man has been averaging around 40 minutes a night lately. You can't expect a dude who's played more career minutes than Jordan to put effort in like that at this stage of his career, during a regular season game. Lue's gotta cut his minutes down. It'll only come back to bite them in the playoffs if he doesn't.

wtf are you talking about ? you take one play and say hes hunting for stats. hes huntin for wins. name another star in this league other than lebron that could get as much out of this roster as he has. 31-23 is damn good considering oladipo, payne, and kanter have missed/will miss significant time.

on paper the roster is terrible. no one even knows who the hell most of these dudes are or where they came from.

Where did I do this? I'm speaking in general, and have been for most of the season. It's an unnecessary (and at times hindrance) habit he's developed over time.
hes huntin for wins.
I don't dispute that at all (which is why I said the media should vote for him as MVP), however, he does prioritize stats ahead of making the right plays during the game more than he should. Anybody that says any different, clearly isn't watching the games.

Curry and Durant, but that's really beside the point. I'm not disputing that fact, or how much he does for his team, but all the important things that have actual impact during the game can't typically be found in his "triple doubles". It's when he focuses on those surface stats that his impact starts to waver.
