i've never been high on mosgov but he's certainly better than what they have now and fills a need that desperately needed to be addressed.
moving those picks ain't a big deal to me though. i mean, they're heavily protected picks in what might as well be the distant future. they have love, bron and kyrie NOW. so they gotta make moves to become a winner today instead of hedging their bets on middle-to-late rounders (maybe even 2nd rounders) that probably won't develop into serviceable players 4-5 years from now, if even at all.
moving waiters (a guy who really wasn't working on their squad) and picks for another waiters, a defensive 2 guard and a big man rim protector ain't a bad haul. looks to me they got what they were looking for without losing much.
