You aren’t going to bother them without players that can score. Any purely defensive player we get they’ll take them right out the series by not guarding them. We can’t go into a series with IT he’s just to small and not good enough against the Warriors. CJ has killed the Warriors often. We need a CJ and more.
Cleveland already has this...this is what I'm not understanding about the get more scoring mantra...so instead of addressing the aspect of the game that you literally of the bottom of the league at, try to amplify the half of the game you're top 5 in? Nah. You're not going to out-Golden State Golden State.

I think we need to make more than
One move but I also think that we are not building lt like previous years to score on the Warriors.

There aren't really that many moves to make. I remember saying the TT and JR signings would haunt the Cavs and brehs thought I was overreacting. Now they're liabilities instead of assets.

Trading Kyrie for IT, Crowder, and that pick was a bad idea. IT isn’t the same player post hip surgery and they are defensively worst with him on the floor:francis:
They would be better with DROSE or Lebron attacking the basket 48 minutes a night:yeshrug:

The Cavs offense ain’t as good as it was last season.

But McCollum isn’t a player to target.

Tyreke Evans and Marc Gasol solves all their problems. Reke is 6’6 and can guard the splash brothers, and Marc is the rim protecting 7 footer that snatch rebounds that they need. And they don’t even have to pay Reke this summer. Problem is, they’re not worth my Nets’ pick and the Cavs don’t have players that can supplement a deal for Reke and Marc :francis:

IT
Reke
Bron

Im of the mindset you're never getting another player like Lebron again and it will probably be decades before the Cavs contend again after Lebron leaves so you should go all in while he's still there.

BUT realistically there is no player you can get that will help you get near GS' level so id keep the pick

Bad idea for bron or the cavs future? I care more about the latter than the former

Sign Tony Allen who will be waived by Chicago. He is still an elite defender and one of the few guys who can slow down Durant.

Here’s 18 minutes of Tony Allen defense on Durant, he’s 6’5, Durant struggles most against smaller physical defenders who get under him.

DeAndre Jordan is just a sexy name. Dewayne Desmond can protect the rim, dive on the P&R, and he’s shooting 38% from 3 on a tanking Atlanta squad. Derrick Favors has a 7’4 wingspan and can protect the rim too.

Thats from 2014:flabbynsick: He's not shutting KD down in 2018.

Still one of the best guys you can possibly put on him in the league. :manny:

Ain’t nobody shutting KD down, especially as a Warrior.

Edit: Also, it isn’t about locking up your man. Allen helps the overall team defense.
