Can't do bothCavs should honestly just keep their pick and the Nets pick. If LeBron leaves or stays, you need to add cheap young athletic depth.
They need to find another big man though. Their front court is very thin.
Unless CJ is going to render Steph inefficient or be a 6'4 rim protector he does not fix the Cavs problems.Wrong
Can't do both

You said they should keep both picks...yet they need a big man. Big men are slim pickings as is. The one scenario with the most noise is getting DeAndre and the Clippers aren't giving up DeAndre without one of those 2 picks. What do you mean?
Like @jaguar paw said, they should keep both picks
They’re 5 games from being in the lottery

He at least gives us a Kyrie type scorer, we could play him at point and create the same matchup problemsUnless CJ is going to render Steph inefficient or be a 6'4 rim protector he does not fix the Cavs problems.
Because you're gunning for title #2 right now. There is no young rim protector with 2+ years left on his deal on the market and none in free agency unless the Jazz say fukk 8-10th place we're tanking.Deandre can bounce this summer
Why trade a pick for a guy who may be a rental? Cavs have to think long term. Their bench needs youth.
Scoring is not the issue...I was saying this when everyone kept clamoring for Love for Melo. Cleveland scored 125 points and still lost by 25 a couple of weeks ago. They do not need another "Kyrie type scorer". They need someone to bother Steph or Klay (or Kyrie because right now I have Boston beating the Cavs) or challenge drivers at the rim. CJ helps them score 130 to give up 135 every night. He at least gives us a Kyrie type scorer, we could play him at point and create the same matchup problems

Like I said, there's no one on the market, that really goes for the athletic 6'5"/6'6" 3&D SG type also. So it sounds like no trade will be made, LeBron leaves and the picks get kept anywayDeandre ain’t bringing them the chip
They need a rim protector but no one on that roster outside like 2 guys can stay in front of their man

You aren’t going to bother them without players that can score. Any purely defensive player we get they’ll take them right out the series by not guarding them. We can’t go into a series with IT he’s just to small and not good enough against the Warriors. CJ has killed the Warriors often. We need a CJ and more.Scoring is not the issue...I was saying this when everyone kept clamoring for Love for Melo. Cleveland scored 125 points and still lost by 25 a couple of weeks ago.
