Wouldn't the Cavs picking Embiid over Wiggins be just like the Blazers goin for Oden over Durant or picking Sam Bowie over MJ? If Wiggins is the best player in this draft I'd pick him no question. Plus traditional big men don't impact the game like they used to, you gotta get an elite wing to win with.

IDK who y'all get as a coach, gotta be somebody with a rep for developing young talent and winning

Exactly, Embiid isn't a prized big man like Anthony Davis. J. Randle will be a better pro player than him.... He already has injury concerns on top of that.

They gotta go with Wiggins or Parker.... Wiggins has Westbrook like athletic abilities and Parker is polished similar to Carmelo when he came out of college

Like you said, they don't have any wing players that can make a impact on the game on their team.

I like Lionel Hollins as a coach as well

I'm on the Jabari bandwagon especially if he's got a trainer and diet plan in check...the cavs need someone who can score inside out.

There hasn't been a really good traditional big drafted since Duncan, especially not when you think about two way players. All the bigs drafted have either been shytty with their back to the basket & good defensively, or really good offensively and poor defensively (Cousins/Al Jeff) and in the case of those two both are 6'9" in shoes, while Embiid is right around 7'0" without them.

Wings win sure, but the Spurs were 7 seconds away from a title last year with a 37 year old traditional big, look at Cousins and Jefferson, big men can still score in the league and he's taller & more athletic than both of them. There's always the injury risk, but if he does develop the Cavs would have an inside/outside threat nobody else in the league has with a 7 footer that can anchor their defense.

Sorry... I got to laugh at @NatiboyB & @Newzz posting more about the Cavs in 1 day than they did all season

:russ:

I got love for you though @NatiboyB

I aint really post about the Cavs except to let my Ohio brehs know when I was at the game, Kyrie Irving is the best PG in the NBA, and Andre Drummond is still better than Dion Waiters. Im only posting about them now, because people are extremely furious about the Cavs obtaining the #1 pick again. Got even my own Laker brehs talking about Cleveland should be nuked:dead:

But everyone knows when people take it past dissing the Cavs to dissing Cleveland in general, Im on the front line:manny:

First you compare him to Darko, and now you say Randle will be better :wtf:

:snoop: I didn't compare him to Darko, I was talking about how Pistons passing on Melo to take a unproven big man...

And yes, I think Randle is better than Embiid. He is better rebounder, much stronger and I think he will have a better rookie season as well. He averaged more points and rebounds than Embiid on a equally talented team

I think with how randle plays he will actually be a better player than Vonleah and Gordon.
