So you’re saying it’s because of injuries?
Considering he barely played over half the season yes. JB was a trash coach that was fully utilizing him as a player and holding him back.

There’s no reason why dudes far on the bench should be getting more reps than him if you know that the long term trajectory of that team decoejfs on his development.

His efficiency and splits aren’t bad at all considering how little usage he gets compared to his other draft class peers.

Bickerstaff won 48 games this year

even with mitchell playing 55 games, mobley 50 games, garland 57 games

3/5 of your starters did not play 70% of the games this year and still you won nearly 50 games.

How dare you didn't beat a team that was tied for the most 8th most wins in nba history get your black azz outta here.

Because Garland isn’t going to get u nowhere near a eastern conference finals .

and u can see the last few years in the playoffs especially this year dude isn’t the guy
They just shipped out Lauri and Sexton for Mitchell, CLE shouldn't be in a rush to give up on talent again. What's the market for Garland that makes CLE better?

People might see Garland as a distressed asset you can buy low on. The guy did break his jaw and lose 15 lbs. That's gotta affect things a bit going forward.

He's only 24, it's not like he's 30. The Magic should actually look to acquire him... they can hide his defense with their giants

I'm perfectly okay with this, from horrible rotations to not trusting anybody, we will live. He was the Mark Jackson to the next coach and should land someone nicely.

For the ones who truly follow the Cavs, we knew this move had to be made in order to make the roster better. There was a clear ceiling with JB and it show during this season. A part of it was due to roster construction but we all know that Koby wasn't going to fire himself for his goof up with building this team. At the same time, it was clear that Mobley and Garland were not developing and something needed to be change since that was JB responsibility.

For those who don't follow the Cavs on the regular, why the team should be contempt in just making the playoffs? JB is not a bad guy but he shown his limitations this year. The goal for most teams is to win a championship and JB wasn't going to be that guy that does it anytime soon. Cleveland have some pieces to make a run so they should go after it and get the best people to coach them. It guess since the city is not a big market, others just want it just to be an afterthought and everyone should be happy just to be in the discussion :beli: .

Yeah I can tell y'all don't watch the Cavs from this thread which is what I expected. JB is the same was the Bucks coach that got fired and probably a half step above Darvin Ham. Rotations trash, Offensive philosophy non existent. Now he did get players to defend, but that is the bare minimum. Never learned to stagger the minutes of Garland and Mitchell or Mobley and Allen. We should have had lineups were Garland plus shooters played with Allen as a rim roller, and Mitchell and Mobley plus shooters to take advantage of Mitchell being able to get downhill. Strus and Okoro should have been he two guards next to them so that you can guard guards and develop some type of player that can guard bigger wings.
